Communications

Email and web access

A computer with broadband satellite internet access is available to researchers and university-level student groups. It is not possible to connect visitors' laptop computers to the satellite. A charge is made for internet usage similar to that in internet cafes. Visitors can access their own email accounts through the system or use a communal address:

Please ask your correspondents to put your name in the subject line of any messages sent to this address.

Phone and fax

There is a payphone for visitors' use and phonecards are available for sale at the Station. Incoming calls cannot be received on the payphone.

Mail
